As program designer, proposal author and project manager, I created and continue to oversee implementation of this multi-faceted media program across Pakistan with a dynamic international team.

Among the accomplishments of this project (as of November 2013):

• Built a team of 24 reporters and four editors across Pakistan to report on government accountability issues;
• Created and supervised a promise-tracking and fact-checking website, TruthTracker, and an elections wiki, PakPolWiki;
• Mentored 60 stories and more than 100 photos to international standards for publication on UPI.com;
• Ran collaborative learning sessions with 350+ reporters on elections coverage and government issues reporting skills;
• Awarded competitive mini-grants for reporting projects and safety measures to 45 Pakistani journalists;
• Trained and developed a Pakistani evaluation team to conduct in-depth content analysis as a means of tracking skill progress by reporters.
